Chore day

We spent the day doing boat chores, and then getting the outboard on the dinghy.  Now we have a way to get ashore to sight see and do errands without being at a dock.  Of course our first errand took two hours and we never did find what we were looking for.

At anchor, in the middle of Back Creek.

Under the twin spans approaching Annapolis.

A work boat, probably pulling crab pots.

I tried posting this comment Friday night, unsuccessfully. Eileen now has me "hooked up". Don't ask, I don't understand it!

"I had a great time! Eileen and I really appreciate your sharing your adventure with us. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the cruising life with real "pros". We hope you have a great year of cruising, enjoying nature and the sea, and accumulating wonderful experiences and memories (remember the sunset on the Hudson at White's Marina? anchoring behind the Statue of Liberty? the exciting sail from NYC to AC and Sue's big eyes when a big wave pooped us? the rainbow in the morning off Atlantic City? the swallow struggling to make it to Passage so he could rest? the wonderful sail up the Delaware Bay? the magic of transiting the C&D Canal in the dark?)"

"Travel safely, take care of each other, and keep the great stories coming. Oh, and don't forget to look at the stars..."

Harold
