North Into North Carolina

Our friends Nadine and Louis leaving Georgetown, SC on Gaia
the 60 foot catamaran Louis built.

The Exuma Youth Band could have used a boat like this.
Should it be painted yellow to be a school boat?

One of several eagles seen on the ICW.

The osprey nest right by our anchorage.

One of the pair of osprey feeding behind our boat.

Maybe these little guys are why Matt didn't like this anchorage.

Some of these photos show the brown stains on the hull caused by tannins in the water. In a previous posting, Richard (or Sue) mentioned that when the stain is particularly prominent at the bow because the bow wave throws the water higher on the hull, it is referred to as a "mustache".
